Planter Height 850mm x Width 400mm x Depth 400mm. Planted Height approx 1750mm.  Planted Weight approx 120 kilos.  These Granite planters by Iota are made from solid granite as opposed to a reconstituted mix.  The planters are extremely strong and are designed to stand the test of time. The stone is dark grey in colour with occasional lighter veins and the surface is polished smooth to the touch.  These planters have a clean, cool look and natural tones making them a versatile and stylish choice.  The styling is contemporary; but like most stone planters they will look at home in both traditional and modern settings. The Ilex Aquifolium (also known as English Holly) can tolerate either sun or shade. Although semi-shade is preferable in midsummer, the more light it has the more dense its foliage will be. Holly requires well-drained, slightly acid, fertile soil.   If pruning becomes necessary, do it in early spring before new growth begins, trimming towards a symmetrical shape.
