Planted Height approx 2100mm.  Planted Weight approx 125 kilos. Inspired by the greatest Victorian Engineer, these Brunel Planters are made from Advanced Composite material similar to that used on racing cars.  The folded metal and riveting defined the age.  The Rust colour which is featured continues to age and change over time.  The planters are extremely strong yet lightweight and are designed to stand the test of time and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. They have a textured finish with a choice of finishes.  They are excellent at entrances, as space dividers or on the patio.  These planters are individually finished by hand and come with a 5 year frostproof guarantee.

Ligustrum Jonandrum (also known as the Privet Tree) is a very adaptable and versatile favourite for topiary. The Box leaf privet grows rapidly and needs clipping quite often in the summer months. It tends to start its growth a bit later than other topiary plants but once it has started it needs clipping every two to three weeks. It stops growing around September time and remains the same shape until the next spring. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and is noted for its small dark green leaves.

This plant produces white flowers in the summer which turn into small black berries in the autumn. These flowers and berries make the plant very attractive but mean that feeding is very important. Use a liquid feed every two to three weeks and a boost feed of ‘Osmacote’ to ensure a good leaf development. This plant is susceptible to Red Spider Mite and benefits from spraying once a year. It also needs treatment for Vine Weevil in the last week of June and the first week in July.
