Planted Height approx 2300mm.  Planted Weight approx 125 kilos. Inspired by the greatest Victorian Engineer, these Brunel Planters are made from Advanced Composite material similar to that used on racing cars.  The folded metal and riveting defined the age.  The Rust colour which is featured continues to age and change over time.  The planters are extremely strong yet lightweight and are designed to stand the test of time and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The Cupressocyparis Castlewellan Gold is a genus hybrid between Chamaecyparis and Cupressus. It is a fast-growing, pyramidal, evergreen tree with scaly leaves held on flattened to quadrangular branchlet sprays. The foliage of 'Castlewellan' is light green in summer, turning golden yellow in autumn and winter. It produces round, brown female cones and ovoid, yellow male cones, 1/16-1/8 inch long. This is fast growing conifer, though as potted its size is easily manageable. The tree benefits from regular clipping with shears which encourages lush dense green foliage and helps keep its shape. The wood and crushed foliage gives off a lovely pungent aroma which makes clipping a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It accepts a wide range of growing conditions and a collection of these plants act as a superior screen or windbreak.
